WANLAWAYN  Unknown men armed with assault rifles fired cargo-loaded truck traveling in parts of southern Somalia killing at least 2 passengers on Monday.

Witnesses said the incident took place in village of Belet Amin near to Wanlawayn district in Lower Shabelle. They added that three others also injured in the shooting on Monday. The truck which was carrying vegetables and other goods left form the Lower Shabelle and heading to Hiran region in central Somalia. The assailants escaped from the scene. The village of Belet Amin locates between Lower Shabelle and Hiran where Al shabaab tightly controls.  And the group has not released any comments about the incident so far.
