There are no translations available. MOGADISHU At least two people have been killed in a fatal car accident in the restive Somali capital Mogadishu, witnesses said on Monday. The incident took place at the road linking between Benadir and Ex-control Afgoye junctions south of Mogadishu where a big truck and minibus collided. Witnesses said that at least 10 people were injured in the road accident. Women and children were among those hurt in the cars crash. The witnesses added that the wounded were immediately rushed to the medical facilities in the city for urgent treatment. Car accidents in Somalia are attributed to the drivers who are believed to inexperienced and unskillful. Somalia has not had any central legislation to aid in repair and maintenance of the streets and other social services since 1991.
